Mums & Bubs Music
This program is on hold until further notice due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Feed your baby’s brain with music, rhythm, songs and movement!

These activities are crucial for your young child’s development, and they are a great way for mums & bubs to connect and have fun together as well!Dads, grannies & granddads and carers are welcome!

This program has been inspired by the Paint the Town REaD objectives to read, rhyme, sing, talk and play with your child every day from birth.

What does a session look like?
This program is for families with children 1-5 years old.Sessions are held weekly for 30 minutes in smalls groups, sitting in a circle with your child. Our Music Teacher Chloe may be playing guitar or ukulele and singing songs, encouraging you to sing along, clap and use rhythm instruments, interact and have fun with your child!

This will help your child

  • Start developing a sense of rhythm
  • Start connecting music with movement
  • Practice their motor skills
  • Get familiar with common nursery and children’s songs
  • Listen to and vocalize along with the songs
  • Have fun with you!

These activities foster children’s brain & social development, as well as getting them used to making music themselves and maybe interested in learning an instrument later. The skills contribute to building pre-literacy skills, which will help your child have a better start in school.

Cost:
$80 per 8-week term ($10 per child per session)
Under 1 year olds (babies in prams) are free if they are not enrolled and not participating.
