Community Development

Our Community Development Project works with community members and other local groups and services to provide activities, groups and courses that create opportunities for learning, self – development, for being involved in something you enjoy, meeting new people and developing friendships.

Staff are at hand for information and referral. We will listen to you and try to help you find services and groups that you are looking for. We also organise activities to celebrate International Women’s Day, Neighbourhood Centre Week and other events.

Women's Group

The North Richmond Women's Craft & Social Group meets Tuesdays during school terms from 9.30am - 11.30am at the North Richmond Community Centre.  An ongoing weekly group for women of all ages, particularly mums with young children – and yes – there is childcare available! A great opportunity to meet other women, chat, laugh, share information and have lots of fun,and have some time out from being a busy mum!

Playgroup

A weekly group for families with children 0-5 years of age. A perfect opportunity for children & parents to meet other children & parents!We always welcome new families!
